On Tuesday afternoon, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Lithuania for the first time since the start of the large-scale Russian invasion.
Zelensky confirmed on Monday evening that he will attend the NATO summit in Vilnius on July 11-12. He arrived in Lithuania on the Polish presidential jet.

After landing in Vilnius, Zelensky is attending an event in Lukiškių Square, his spokesman Serhiy Nykyforov was quoted by the Ukrainian public broadcaster.
The event on Tuesday evening will include raising the Ukrainian flag and welcoming participants of the marathon Raise the Flag for Ukraine in NATO.
The Ukrainian president will later attend bilateral meetings at various levels in Vilnius, including meetings with representatives of European countries, the US, Canada, and Japan.
On Tuesday, the US confirmed that a bilateral meeting between US President Joe Biden and Zelensky will take place on Wednesday.
